Rugby Program Tours Toronto

The entire Selwyn House School rugby program from Grade 7-12 travelled to Ontario between April 14-16 to participate in a pre-season rugby tour. The boys visited Upper Canada College (UCC) where they trained on their field. While on the road, they managed to establish a study hall on campus for completing homework and assignments, enjoyed personalized tours of the school by Christopher Rossy '22, and ate in the UCC dining hall. In the afternoon, all three Gryphon rugby teams linked up with the UCC Blues for a joint practice session.

The Juvenile team also had the opportunity to play UCC in a controlled scrimmage. On the way back to Montreal, the Gryphons stopped at Trinity College School (TCS) in Port Hope, Ontario, where all three Selwyn teams played exhibition matches versus the Bears. Leading the way for TCS were Old Boys Matthew Anderson '22 and Jack McLernon '22.

All three teams are playing today, April 30, at the Ed Meagher Field. Go Gryphons!
