Benjamin Basketball Secures Third Consecutive Championship Banner

On Saturday March 23, the Benjamin Basketball team, made up of seventh and eighth graders, capped their 11-1 season with a comfortable victory in the championship game against École de l’Altitude, 59-49. After going down 25 points in their semi-final contest, and coming back from such a significant deficit, the battle tested group of Middle School athletes entered the final game determined to meet the moment from tip-off. Encouraged by excellent team defence and rebounding, and a 36-point outing from eighth grader and game MVP, Ezekiel I., the Gryphons captured their third championship banner in as many years.
