Student Leaders Shine at Canadian Leadership Conference

From October 4-8, students attended the Canadian Student Leadership Conference (CSLC) at Camp White Pine in Haliburton, Ontario. Throughout the event, our student leaders joined peers from across the country to hear from inspiring keynote speakers, engage in interactive workshops, and challenge themselves on a high ropes course that pushed them beyond their comfort zones.

“A common theme among the keynote speakers was the idea that you have to step outside your comfort zone to achieve your goals,” shared Dylan M. in Grade 11.

Humble the Poet, one of the keynote speakers, echoed this sentiment: “There’s no such thing as a generation gap. There are people who are open to new ideas and people who are closed to new ideas.”

When asked if they would recommend the conference to their peers next year, all our students gave a resounding, “Definitely, yes!” - Ms. Megan Littman, Student Life and Leadership Coordinator
