Halloween Fun Meets Learning For Senior School Students
On October 29, Senior School students skipped regular TAG meetings and went straight to department-organized, Halloween-themed activities. Each challenge was both educational and festive, with students earning chocolate and candy for their efforts.
In with the English department, students crafted spooky stories in just six words, while with the Math team, they estimated the volume of rockets. With Social Studies teachers they tested their knowledge with Halloween history trivia, and the Science department offered the mysterious challenge of Phantom Flickers. With French department, students played a special round of Pendu d’Halloween, and over in the Macaulay Gym, they raced to escape a maze. Meanwhile, the boys in the mezzanine demonstrated their knowledge by naming five concussion symptoms with Head Athletic Therapist, Ms. Sophie Drisdelle.
It was a fun-filled day, blending learning with Halloween spirit, and everyone enjoyed the treats they earned along the way!
