As part of Founder's Day Week, our Grade 11 biology students visited the Alan and Roula Rossy Microbiology Lab at the Jewish General Hospital on December 7. Students learned how blood samples are processed in the lab to identify infectious diseases and witnessed real-time analysis of samples. They gained insight into the intricate procedures involved in determining the cause of illnesses, setting the stage for our upcoming unit on the immune system.
A big thank you to Roula and Alan ‘79 Rossy and the Jewish General Hospital for this invaluable opportunity, sparking curiosity and laying the foundation for a deeper understanding of the biological world! - Meghan Dalton, Senior School Science Teacher
