Grade 10 Guest Visitors Explores Nuclear Energy in Canada

As part of their unit on "Changes in Matter," Ms. Egan’s Grade 10 Science classes welcomed Kiza and Dee Sauvé to speak about nuclear power in Canada. Through her role at Nuclear Waste Management Organization and as a board member with Women in Nuclear Canada, Kiza explained that Canada is a world leader in nuclear technology. Nuclear power is is so much more clean and efficient than some other forms of energy, therefore, it is an important part of our path to limiting climate change.
