SHS-ECS Grade 8 Math Olympics

Once again the Fifth Annual Selwyn-ECS Math Olympics proved to be great fun! Our bright and courageous boys and girls found the puzzles challenging and really had to think outside of the box. Several puzzles that have not been successfully completed in the past couple of years were amazingly completed this year with time to spare! Ultimately it was the clever wagering in the Final Jeopardy round that determined our winners from the closely scored game. Congratulations to the winning team of Gabriel Di Bert, Jonathan Milner, Megan Bernier and Elspeth Murphyand to all of our participating mathematicians: Calvin Erdstein, Colin Rolph, Sebastien Mouland, Theo Dedes, Justin-Harry Burdman, and Stanford Li.
