Andrew Sniderman '01 sheds light on unequal education for Indigenous children in new book

Writer, lawyer, and Rhodes Scholar Andrew Sniderman '01 and co-author Douglas Sanderson have written a book entitled Valley of the Birdtail: An Indian Reserve, a White Town and the Road to Reconciliation. "This true story follows multiple generations of two families, one Indigenous and one white, and shows how their neighbouring communities became separate and unequal..."We approach this problem from the perspective of two families—one Indigenous, one white—living in neighbouring communities.
