Design Challenge Spring 2023
Once again, Brian Bulcke, a Stanford-trained engineer and design-thinking expert, and founder of Play4Tomorrow, offered a one-day design challenge workshop at Selwyn House, this time for the Elementary and Middle schools. On Saturday, April 22, fifteen students joined Brian and Brenda Montgomery, Selwyn House’s Director of Academic Innovation and Growth, to develop and prototype new games. The students thought they were spending the day playing games and having fun. They were actually designing, prototyping, and iterating. Tim Fleiszer ‘83, Executive Director of the Concussion Legacy Foundation Canada, sponsored this event with the support of Mike Maurovich, Director of Athletics.
