Phil Wizard Brings Olympic Energy to Selwyn House

On January 21, Selwyn House had the privilege of hosting Phil Wizard, the 2024 Olympic gold medalist in breakdancing from the Paris Games. Phil who was joined by Montreal dancer Vincent Lachance, delivered an unforgettable performance, captivating students and staff alike with their dynamic and extraordinary skills. In an exciting twist, one of our very own students, Grade 11’s Aaron F.-S., a breakdancer himself, was invited to join Phil and Vincent and showcase his moves.

 

After they showcased their expertise, Phil shared his journey—from his early days to winning Olympic gold. He also spent time answering students’ questions and sharing some helpful advice. A big thank you to Mark Smith, a former Selwyn parent, for making this fantastic experience possible!
