  Grade 12, like the other grades at Selwyn House, will be boys only.
  

• Can students participate in student life and extra-curricular activities?

  Yes

• Do Selwyn House Grade 11 students have to apply?

  Yes, but it will be a different process than the application from an outside student. 

• What diploma will students receive and is it recognized by all universities?

  Students will receive the New Brunswick Grade 12 diploma that is recognized by Universities nationally and internationally including English and French universities in Montreal.

   

  Students who attend a Montreal university will have to do a Year 0.

   

  Selwyn House has established connections with Canadian and American universities, and we are a UCAS centre (for students applying to the UK).

• What will the curriculum look like?

  We will offer three streams to prepare students for three general streams at universities: sciences, commerce, and liberal arts.

   

  Students will have four classes in each of two terms. Some AP classes will be offered.
  

• What will the students’ day look like?

  This winter, we will publish a student handbook that will provide information on uniform, the daily schedule, and other policies and rules

• Will students on bursaries continue to receive them?

  Yes, like every year, they will be required to apply through FAST.

• Will there be postsecondary guidance?

  There will be postsecondary guidance to support and advise students on their program, university selections and applications.
