On October 28, 6A traded the classroom for some sunshine and adventure at Westmount Park! We set off on a nature walk, soaking up the vibrant fall colours and crisp air. Along the way, we paused at scenic spots to connect with nature and embrace our senses. Sitting and lying in the leaves, we took a moment to listen, feel, and appreciate nature around us. A highlight of our journey was a quick visit to the Westmount Conservatory and Greenhouse, where we inhaled the warm, humid air and marvelled at the exotic plants. To cap off our nature escapade, each student crafted a haiku inspired by their favorite moments from our stroll. This outing was a perfect blend of learning and appreciating some fun outdoors! - Ms. Kelsey Begg, Outdoor Education Teacher
