Rowing Team Makes a Splash at the Avrion Quebec Lachine Canal Challenge

On May 26, the rowing team participated in the Aviron Quebec Lachine Canal Challenge. What a great race weekend! The team did great and everyone should be incredibly proud of your showing both on and off the water.

The Novice 8+ excelled in their heat, showing impressive speed and responsiveness. With more experience, they could aim for the open 8+. They passed over five boats and held off the senior men.

The Junior Men 4+ with Phil B. won their race, earning some nice hardware. This U17 crew has great potential for the Fall season, with eyes set on NY Saratoga next year.
In the Singles, Alex Q. and Phil B. competed fiercely in a tough heat, representing the school well.

Alex Q. will compete at the CSSRA's at Henley Island from May 30 - June 1. Good luck, Alex! We're behind you 100%. - Ms. Donivan, Senior School English teacher and Rowing coach
