Selwyn Parents Take on the Ice at the Montreal West Curling Club

On October 19 a group of brave parents arrived at the Montreal West Curling Club for an introduction to curling. Learning the game was not for the faint of heart, as we experienced a few spills while trying to release the stone with the perfect timing and speed.

 

Despite the challenges, we managed to play a not-so-friendly game. The blue team clinched the victory with the final throw, much to the disappointment of the yellow team, who thought they had it in the bag.

 

After plenty of laughs and celebrations from the winning side, we wrapped up the evening with pizza and a few drinks. It was a fun night for everyone! - Ms. Carla Bogdaneris, Parent Connectivity Representative
