Pre-U Alumni Share Insights on the First-Year University Experience
On February 19, current Pre-U students had the opportunity to hear about “the first year university experience” from 6 members of the inaugural Pre-U Class of 2024. The discussion was candid and honest and allowed current students to hear about the challenges of first year. Topics that were covered: dorm life and roommates, first year classes, clubs and athletics, adjusting to lectures and new assessment practices, and the importance of attending class. The first semester was a big adjustment, but all appeared happy and healthy, and seemed to be thriving in their own way. - Ms. Lynam, Pre-U Coordinator
