Stop, Think, Breathe, Go: A Grade 1 Leader’s Approach to Emotional Regulation

During a recent soccer game, Grade 1 student Clark G. found himself frustrated but showed great self-awareness by recognizing it and using calming tools he learned from our Learning Strategists—like Infinity and Five Finger Breathing. He even created his own strategy: Stop, Think, Breathe, Go, which he proudly shared at the school assemblies during the last week of March, inspiring others to develop their own approaches.
Many students are finding success with emotional regulation, and we continue to support them in discovering what works best for them. We're proud of Clark’s leadership and are always here to help! – The ES Learning Strategists
