Staff Highlight: Ms. Meaghan Scholefield
For our second staff highlight, we are celebrating the guidance and mentorship of Ms. Meaghan Scholefield, whose dedication to Selwyn House’s Veritas values—particularly in community service—has made a lasting impact. Nominated by her colleagues, Ms. Scholefield plays a key role in empowering students to give back in ways that matter to them.
At Selwyn House, every member of our staff goes above and beyond to help boys reach their full potential. Ms. Scholefield, alongside her Elementary School colleagues, leads the “Community Service Squad,” a group of 20-25 enthusiastic students eager to make a difference. With her support, the boys take the lead in meaningful initiatives, such as helping to organize Earth Day activities and interacting with seniors as a part of our ongoing collaboration with Contactivity.
Over the years, the squad has organized many initiatives and collected books, toys, and clothing for local organizations, reinforcing the spirit of giving in our community.
Her work is just one example of the many ways Selwyn House School staff inspire and support students every day.
