Grade 6 Students Take a Chance on Learning

During the first week in February in the Grade 6 corridor of Selwyn House, the excitement was high as students transformed into game creators! As part of our probability unit, the boys designed their very own casino-style games and put their knowledge to the test by inviting the Grade 5 to come and play. From rolling dice to spinning wheels, they explained the math behind their games while trying to win as many chips as possible. A fun and engaging way to learn probability. Later in the month, equipped with their understanding of probability, the boys had the chance to test out their skills by challenging the Senior School students. One could say, learning has never been this lucky! - Mr. Casey & Mr. Kelley, Grade 6 Homeroom teachers
