M15 D3 Hockey Team Guided by Old Boy Coach as They Enter Playoffs

The M15 D3 Gryphon Hockey team recently wrapped up its inaugural season in the RSEQ, competing as a young squad in a league dominated by Grade 9 teams. Despite challenges in scoring, the team earned points in 10 of 22 games, thanks in large part to the stellar goaltending duo of Bowie E. and Vincent L., who helped keep them among the league’s top defensive teams. In his first year behind the bench, Old Boy and former Juvenile D1 goalie Camden Widgington '21 guided the team alongside Coach Derek Widgington. With strong defensive play, the group hopes to surprise a team or two in the playoffs. Coach Widgington is extremely proud of the boys' efforts and growth this season.
