Donation of Historic Newspapers to Library

Sara Colby, mother of Graham Colby ’96 and wife of Edward Colby ’62, has generously offered a collection of Montreal newspapers dating back to 1936. From King Edward VII's abdication, to the moon landing, these newspapers offer a captivating glimpse into history. Upon sharing this generous donation with our teachers, the response was overwhelmingly enthusiastic. Mme Thériault, Chef du département de l'univers social in Middle School, highlighted their significance for our Canadian History program, welcoming them as an invaluable gift. Let's extend our gratitude to Mrs. Colby for this enriching addition to our school. A special thanks to Ms. Soukhodolskaia, Head Librarian (pictured), for cataloguing the valuable primary resources.
