On October 26, 14 Old Boys gathered at The Old Triangle Irish Alehouse in Halifax for a wonderful evening of connection and camaraderie. Hosted by Headmaster Mike Downey, who was in town for a conference, the reunion brought together alumni living and studying in the city for a night to remember.
The success of the event was due in large part to
Jack Ladenheim ’21, who rallied his fellow Old Boys at Dalhousie University to attend. Jack’s initiative is a fantastic example of what a
Class or Chapter Representative can do to help bring our alumni community together. If you’d like to take on a similar role in your area,
we’d love to hear from you!
The night was filled with great food, lively conversation, and plenty of laughs. Old Boys shared stories from their Selwyn days and caught up on each other’s lives. The group was thrilled to welcome Marc Delplace '81, who happened to be in Halifax and joined the gathering. Door prizes added an extra layer of fun, making the event even more memorable.
This reunion was a beautiful reminder of the lifelong bonds that Selwyn House fosters. Staying connected ensures you’ll always have opportunities to rekindle those ties, no matter where life takes you.
