Selwyn House School Makes Debut Appearance at Greek Independence Day Parade

For the first time, students from Selwyn House School participated in the Greek Independence Day parade in Montreal on March 24. 🇬🇷 The Selwyn contingent was led by Grade 12 students Lambros P. and Yianni P., who earlier that month energetically addressed different level assemblies to gather participants and educate their fellow students on the significance of the parade. Notably, the event saw appearances by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and marked a historic moment with the participation of Greece's Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, for the first time in decades.

 

Parents, family members, and alumni, irrespective of Greek heritage, proudly donned Selwyn attire and joined the parade, demonstrating a spirit of unity and learning that epitomizes Selwyn House School's commitment to community and inclusivity. #Veritas
