Grade 11 Mock Trial

On December 13, Justice Paul Mayer '74, Superior Court Judge, volunteered to preside over the Grade 11 Mock Trial in the library. The defence team, Alistair A.-C. and Phil G. defended their client against theft and assault charges, while the prosecution team, Logan V. and Rayan A., aimed to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Grade 12 students participated in the trial as witnesses and staff members Ms. Poulin and Mr. McCarney were the jury. After examining witnesses, the jury ultimately found the accused...not guilty! We extend our gratitude to everyone who took part in this year's Mock Trial. The students showcased their skills in managing their nerves, public speaking, and thinking quick on their feet.
