Obituary - Ivan Edward Phillips '50

Dear Classes of 1949, 1950, 1951 and Former Staff,

We are saddened to inform you of the passing of Ivan Edward Phillips, Class of '50, who died on November 22, 2022 in New York. Ivan attended Selwyn House from 1944-1950. During his time at Selwyn House School, Ivan was a Prefect, editor of the school magazine, speaker at morning assembly, actor and was a member of the Selwyn Oratorical Society. He earned awards for academics, essay writing and received distinction in Latin. He played soccer, hockey and basketball and was a Scouts Patrol Leader. Ivan was a regular attendee at Old Boys' New York Chapter events.
