Selwyn Debaters Make Grand Final at Aristotle Cup

On March 29, Selwyn House participated in the Aristotle Cup Debating Tournament at Marianopolis College. It was an interesting tournament that focussed on some very philosophical motions. The 3rd round topic was "This House believes that an evil God is more plausible than a good God." Well done to the entire team, and special congratulations to William L. and Max A. who made it to the Grand Final to take second place overall. Special recognition goes to Shen H. for 10th place speaker, Jacob B. for 7th Place Speaker, William L. for 5th Place Speaker, and Joseph B. and Max A. who were part of a 5-way tie for 1st place speaker. - Mr. Bracewell, Debating Coach
