Obituary - Ian Hugh Bovey '46

Dear Classes of 1945, 1946, 1947 and Former Staff,

We are saddened to inform you of the passing of Ian Hugh Bovey, Class of '46, on November 6, 2022 in Oakville, Ontario. Ian grew up in Westmount where he attended Selwyn House School from 1940-1946. He was the brother of the late Christopher Bovey '41.

During his time at Selwyn House School, Ian was a Prefect, was active in debating, public speaking, and was the literary editor of the school magazine, even taking a part in a one act play during a Christmas term. He played several sports and was the captain of the Cricket and Football teams. Ian received prizes for school and athletics alike and was an Owl Scout Troop leader.
