During the month of September, Grade 8 students travelled the great land of Kiamika Regional Park - home to beautiful beaches and loon filled waters. The aim of the journey was to connect students with their classmates while developing skills such as canoeing, fire building, knot tying, and cooking. Each trip proved to be unique in its interactions, activities, and weather. - Mr. Giffin, Outdoor Education Specialist
Thank you to Mr. Geisterfer, Mr. Giffin, Ms. Begg, the Outdoor Education team, for their planning and participation in some or all of the Grade 8 field trips. Thank you also to Mr. Séguin for capturing the spirit of the excursion. A special shout-out to current Grade 12 student, Nicolas Capolicchio '24, for volunteering to take on a leadership role during the Grade 8-3 trip by guiding his fellow students and running reflection circles.
