Pre-U Law Class Explores Indigenous Rights and Laws with Guest Speaker Tioniatarishon Jacobs
On January 20, the Pre-U Law class had the pleasure of welcoming Tioniatarishon Jacobs to speak on Indigenous Rights and Laws. He spoke of oral traditions, the Mohawk council of Kahnawake, The Great Law, nations, chiefs, and clans. Thank you for returning as a guest speaker and enriching our understanding of Indigenous law, ultimately allowing us to move toward a more equitable society. - Ms. Sweer, Grade 12 English & Social Studies teacher
